What can I say that hasn't already been written in the occasional misdemeanor complaint or restraining order?

I grew up reading science fiction. Mainly space opera, with occasional forays into hard SF. I also have always had a soft spot for the pulp novels I'd find in the small town library I frequented as a child.

I've read a lot of fantasy over the years, but sometime in my 20s I grew tired of High Fantasy/Epic Fantasy/the swineherd with destiny. Problem was, that was the sole subgenre getting into print at the time and it was that or nothing. I know many writers are still creating wonderful works that are new and interesting, but I wandered away into Serious Literature and other boring things. After a bit, I drifted from writing completely, although I never could stop the daydreaming.

Then I ran into Urban Fantasy, which blew my mind and drew me back into reading and writing. Since then I've been a busy internet presence. I'm currently a moderator of Mark Henry's Yahoo group, the Glamazombies, and a forum moderator at the League of Reluctant Adults.

When not writing, I do things other than writing. But that's not why we're here.
